Baltimore,MD- Maryland Screen Printers, Inc., manufactures of the world famous BIG JOHNSON line of T-shirts announces the creation of the first ever national championship points program for dirt late model racers.Entitled the "BIG JOHNSON Late Model National Championship",$15,000 will be awarded to the driver who earns the most at the most prestigious late model races throughout the 1998 racing season. An additional $6,000 will be awarded through the "Always in the Pole Position"award to the drivers who can earn the pole position at each of the selected events.

This program was created to answer the most asked question at the end of each racing season,"Who was the best driver?" Drivers racing head to head in the most prestigios and biggest money events is the best way to answer that question.
